Welcome to our 2027 Conference

ECMC is excited to welcome Kristin Day and Jenny Kist as our 2027 keynote speakers!

On Thursday, Kristin Day, founder of Butterfly Hill Nature Preschool, author of I’m Not Getting Them Ready for Kindergarten, and host of The Play Based Learning Podcast, will share her passion for play-based learning and giving children the childhoods they deserve.

On Friday, Jenny Kist, a 30-year early childhood educator, Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, longtime Conscious Discipline practitioner, and 2025 Missouri State Teacher of the Year semi-finalist, will bring her dynamic approach to connection, social-emotional learning, and creating environments where every child can thrive.

Join us February 4–5, 2027, in Houston, Texas for two inspiring days of learning, connection, and encouragement!
